Our areas of concentration include: Elder Law Issues (review of contracts for nursing homes and continuing care retirement communities, medicaid planning and spend down issues); Estate Planning (trusts, wills and powers of attorney to keep you out of probate court and to simplify life and to protect assets); Probate Court - Decedent's Estates and Guardianships (when court is necessary, we assist clients in working through a complicated system); and Administration of Trusts (despite the desire to "avoid probate" by the use of a Living Trust, there are many rules (legal, tax & ethical) that need to be followed by your Successor Trustee - we help do the job correctly!).
